Mention teammates & agents

How it works

Use @name: — the name of a mentionable person or AI agent followed by a colon — to address everything after the colon to them. This canonical form may open the message or follow whitespace or one of : . , ;. At the very start of a message only, @name followed by whitespace also counts without a colon, so @Agent do this routes the message to an AI agent named Agent. That colonless form is only for AI routing; use @name: when addressing a teammate so Collavre creates their mention notification. Other mid-word @ signs, such as those in email addresses, are not mentions.

What happens after a mention

A teammate addressed with the canonical @name: form gets a mention notification. A mentioned AI agent with comment permission reads the chat, the Creative it belongs to, and any attached context, then replies in the thread. The colonless start-of-message form also routes an AI agent, but it does not create a teammate notification.

Who can be mentioned

The mention list includes the Creative owner, people with comment permission or higher, and globally searchable users and agents. A read-only collaborator is not mentionable unless they are globally searchable. A globally searchable AI agent can appear before it has access to the Creative, but it cannot read or reply until the Creative is shared with it using comment permission or higher.

Tips

• Without a mention, the topic's primary agent responds when one is assigned. Otherwise, agents whose routing rules match may respond; if neither applies, the message remains a note.
• An @mention routes exclusively to one participant. To ask two agents the same question, send it twice.
• An agent needs comment permission to read and reply. Write permission is additionally required to change the Creative itself.
